At LUX Assure we research, develop and market technologies to solve real-life problems for the oil and gas industry.
We currently offer two key products, CoMic™ and OMMICA™. Together they represent a revolution in monitoring and managing difficult-to-detect chemicals in hydrocarbons, condensates and water, specifically the thermodynamic hydrate inhibitors and corrosion inhibitors used to protect oilfield assets, on and offshore. This is innovative, game-changing technology which provides assurance, verification and optimisation in the field.
Our role in the oil and gas industry is to work with operators and the associated supply chain to provide independent, impartial information. This will allow informed management decisions which will contribute to the integrity of assets throughout the lifecycle of the field.

LUX Assure are proud to have five investors; Chevron Technology Ventures, ConocoPhillips, Statoil Technology Invest, Archangel Investors and the Scottish Investment Bank, the investment arm of Scottish Enterprise. Following significant investment in LUX Assure, secured in 2013, further investment was received in late 2015 which saw Chevron Technology Ventures become a new shareholder in the company.
We do not store credit card details. Any personal details stored, such as name and email address, will not be passed to any third parties, other than for the purposes of assigning consignee information for delivery of goods purchased.
We work with each customer to determine a suitable despatch and delivery date. Generally, we aim to despatch all orders within one week of receiving a purchase order or payment via credit card. There are occasions where orders can be expedited for quicker despatch and equally, situations where the despatch date may be delayed.
We use a variety of freight forwarders and couriers including FedEx and DHL. We are also able to arrange delivery via a customer’s preferred provider.
Refund / Cancelation Policy
In general, we do not offer refunds however any refunds requested would be reviewed on a case by case basis. Cancellations can only be accepted prior to goods despatch.
