Archangel Informal Investment
Archangel Informal Investment is Scotland's leading Business Angel Syndicate. Originally formed in 1992 and based in Edinburgh, the syndicate now comprises around 100 investor members and is investing circa £10m per year in early stage Scottish companies, including leverage from partners, the largest being the Scottish Enterprise Co-Investment Fund. The current Archangel protfolio of companies includes around two dozen companies. Scottish Co-investment Fund

The Edinburgh Technology Fund (ETF) is an early stage seed and pre-seed fund, established in 1999 under the University Challenge Fund initiative. Its aim is to provide pump-priming finance for supporting the initial commercialisation activities for new technologies emerging from the University of Edinburgh and a number of its associated research institutes. |
